Day 3
After breakfast, we will begin our third day, a 3-hour hike to Cerro Jhony. On this route, you can appreciate the transition between forest and steppe, with views of the Chubut River valley. After resting in the forest, we will have lunch, and after midday, we continue our 3-hour trek westward, where our camp is located at the headwaters of the river, at 1,480 meters above sea level.
Day 2
After a hearty breakfast, we will set off on horseback, beginning with a 2.5-hour ride up the zetas (slopes) toward Cerro Diablo, whose summit is a large plateau of green mallines (grassy plains) with sweeping views of the highest peaks in the area. Inside the forest, we will prepare our lunch and take a short break. We will continue east, descending through lenga forests, with views toward the valley of turquoise lagoons, which we will wade through until we reach the hunters' post where we will spend the night. This last stretch is a 2.5-hour ride.
Day 1
We begin the expedition from Estancia Foyel (located 90 km south of Bariloche). After a light lunch in the park, we begin our first two-hour hike up the rocky Foyel River until we reach Mallín Bonito, a site where deer sightings are possible. We will continue our ascent to the viewpoints, the highest point of this first day, and descend with panoramic views of the estancia valley, reaching the ranch house after 3 hours.
Day 4
After breakfast, we begin our trek southward, traversing Cerro El Gringo. Through the closely intertwined lenga forests, we will cross mallines, rilles, and streams. After 3 hours of riding, we will have lunch at the old campfire and, after a rest, we will continue ascending for another 3 hours to the Foyel refuge, located at 1,680 meters above sea level, where we will spend our last night.
Day 5
On this last day, the route descends through the forest toward the Foyel River valley, following its course, with attractive views of Cerro Carerras and Cerro Baguales, until reaching the ranch house… where we will conclude the experience with a great farewell lunch in the shed.

Lodge Accommodation
The daily tour itineraries remain the same, with the difference being the accommodation in the main house. At the end of the day's excursion, we will travel by 4x4 to the main ranch house, where each guest will have a private room with an en-suite bathroom.
